Over The Years, Volvo cars have become increasingly complex as newer models come out. Gone are the simpler Jetronic fuel injections of the past found in 80's era 240 models. In are the variety of network computers that make up a modern Volvo. Everything from CEM, UEM, DIM, SWM ... (acronyms for all those modules that make everything come together, sort of speak).

All these modules have software that from time to time need to be updated. Much the same way our everyday pc's need software updates, this software updates can fix problems that may arise over time.

Volvo's VIDA system (Vehicle Information and Diagnostics for Aftersales) is an online diagnostic and information system used to perform diagnostics and programming for Volvo vehicles. Orion recently upgraded to this system to provide our customers dealer level service on every Volvo model that comes through the door.
